How do I refer my quote in Tarmika?

The Refer Quote feature exists to allow you to refer quotes directly to your carrier specific underwriter. It can also be used to refer quotes submitted through Market Access.

Steps to Refer Quote

  1. Click the View button below the carrier logo on the quote response
  2. That will open up additional information from the carrier such as the quote processing reference number & oftentimes messaging from the carrier 
  3. Click Action off to the right-hand side
  4. Select Refer Quote from the dropdown list
  5. This will open up an email template to your contact at your agency network. This email is completely customizable and we will copy you on the email & send the Acord Forms automatically when you click send

Reminder: Once a quote has been referred, you should contact your company specific underwriter or Market Access contact regarding any status of the quote.

Referring Market Access Quotes

For any carrier that your agency accesses through an agency network, you will see an “MA” (Market Access) symbol in the right-hand corner of the quote response. This distinguishes which carriers you will need to refer to a quoting team at your agency network.
